My work is primarily colour field expressionism. I use acrylic and gauche paints on raw or primed canvas. Often I use rice or mulberry paper for more delicate pieces.
My work is process based, with the subject matter determined at mid-point.
In addition to paining, I am currently training as an art therapist. I believe in the power of healing through creativity, and have witnessed first hand the success and reward that comes through the bravery of participants.
